How We Met
📍 Serendipity 3
Charissa and Sam first met in September 2011 at the famous Serendipity 3 restaurant located in Midtown Manhattan for a friend’s birthday dinner party… I mean if that isn’t fate, we don’t know what is.
Cappuccinos & Happy Hours
📍 The Shakespeare
They became good friends even before they started dating.
Sam worked on 33rd Street and would walk over to Charissa on 39th street with eclairs and cappuccinos over his lunch break. After work they would frequent The Shakespeare pub and dream of traveling the world together.
New Year’s Day 2021
📍 Mondrian Park Avenue
On January 1st 2021 after dating for several years, Charissa & Sam quit their jobs and become partners in not just life, but in business. With a champagne toast in the Piet Suite of the Mondrian Hotel on 30th Street, they were off on their newest adventure.
The Proposal
📍 Veles e Vents – Valencia, Spain
Speaking of traveling the world together, on January 20th 2023, Charissa & Sam snuck into the 3rd floor of the empty America’s Cup building that overlooks the port of Valencia to watch the sunset over the city.
Sam proposes to Charissa to which she replies, “did you ask my parents?” then followed by a, “YES”.
